Think Pink in the Countryside

Fluorescent pink is the most conspicuous colour in the countryside during daytime, according to researchers from Brighton University. Jayne Bramwell, started the Safe Lanes scheme to make country lanes safer for walkers, cyclists and horseriders. As well as taking measures to encourage drivers to slow down she is using the research to try to persuade others using the roads to make themselves more visible.

At Safe Kids Walking we have teamed up with the Safe Lanes organisation to promote and make more fluorescent pink products available, including new pink reflective sashes, stick-on reflectors and fleeces. Visit www.brightkidz.co.uk for product details."
