Children's Rota
All children who go on the Walking Bus without their parents must be registered users to be covered by insurance. This should be emphasised to all parents.
It is best if children walking without their parents have a regular place on the Walking Bus. Then the volunteers will know whom to expect each day. The Walking Bus becomes even more worthwhile if it can also take unbooked, but registered children in cases of family illness or other emergency. If you have more than enough volunteers for each route and telephone contact between participants you will be able to offer this service.
