Walking Bus organisers will need to arrange liability insurance. Most local authorities can arrange this, but if yours cannot, please let us know by e-mailing us at info@safe-kids-walking.com or see below. Always contact your local authority first.
If your school has a PTA and it is a member of the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Association (NCPTA) you should be able to get your Walking Bus covered for public liability and personal accident under the membership insurance policy. The parents must have set up the scheme and be running it themselves. If your school association is not a member of the NCPTA, you can find out more about joining at www.ncpta.org.uk.
